Captain Sal C. Mattino Sr.

U.S. Coast Guard Captains License Qualified to operate vessels up to 100 tons. I carry a maximum of 6 passengers. I am a member of the American Professional Captains Association. I am a certified Captain for the International Game & Fish Association. I have received additional training in First Responder First Aid applications.

Born in Brooklyn N.Y., I then moved to Long Island, N.Y. The experience of fishing and the Great outdoors started as far back as I could remember. My Father instilled upon his children to respect what Mother Nature has provided us with. This started the seedlings for a lifetime of enjoyment with the great outdoors and camaraderie with my fellow man. My main Hobbies are Fishing & Hunting.

Married 25 years to my wife Lynore & Father of two sons Salvatore III & Dominick II retired from law enforcement & firefighting I have more time to dedicate to scouting the open seas and rivers for quality fishing grounds

Only The Best Equipment

Equipment used: Penn 7500 S/S reels featuring Star rods offshore & inshore models. Bottom fishing rigs are Penn International reels with with  Deluxe Star rods. Light tackle used for catching bait and lighter fish are Penn 4500 & 5500 S/S reels with Quantum Rhino rods. All necessary tackle is provided depending on the type of fishing you desire!
